4 - St. Valentine's day is fast approaching on Feb. 14. Fr. Joseph invites everyone to take a piece of heart-shaped "post it" paper to write your intentions and decorate the glass wall behind the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Nativity Group will offer raffle tickets on Sunday, Feb. 12, and raffle out a surprise gift for your Valentine on that day. ....

5 - Please bring your dried palms on or before Feb. 19, 2023 in preparation for celebrating Ash Wednesday on Feb. 22. Ash Wednesday services are as follow: Mass and service in English at 8 a.m. Service (ashes) only in English at noon. Service only in Spanish at 5 p.m. and Mass and service in Spanish at 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting (only one meal) and abstinence (no meat). All Fridays during Lent are days for abstinence (no meat). 

6 - On Feb. 17 watch our priests take on our seminarians at the annual Priests vs. Seminarians Basketball Game, at Chaminade Middle School in Chatsworth, 10210 Oakdale Ave, Chatsworth. Come support vocations in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Doors Open: 6:00 p.m. and the game starts at 7:30 p.m. Limited tickets are available, but the game will be live-streamed on the Catholic Hoops page for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home. 11 - On Feb. 18, Our Lady of the Angels Regional Eucharistic Congress takes place at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Culver City.

12 - President's Day is Feb. 20, 2023. The parish office will be closed on that Federal Holiday and resume the next day, on Feb. 21, 2023.

March 3-5:  Beginning Experience® Weekend for Widowed, Separated & Divorced Adults

A Beginning Experience® Weekend retreat will be held from 3/3-3/5 at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center (Encino). Trained
peer ministers guide and encourage hurting people to take steps on their grief journey towards a new beginning after a

1. Fr. Joseph and Maggie have placed a QR code sign on the tables of the entrances of the Church and encourage everyone to get free subscription with JS Paluch https://www.jspaluch.com/BulletinSubscribe.aspx to receive free current bulletins of St. Clement Church with your email address or to visit our parish website for weekly bulletin. Fr. Joseph will continue to offer a limited quantity of physical bulletin printed in house for those who have no access online.   
2. Even though the face masks are recommended but not obligatory in the county of Los Angeles, there are some increasing cases of respiratory infection due to the flu season with variant of COVID-19. Therefore, let us continue to be vigilant and prudent to prevent the transmission of respiratory illnesses and use the face masks when near people or in a room.  
3. The parish office requests all group leaders to turn in their respective monthly activity calendars to better plan the upcoming activities. 
4. Fr. Joseph invites everyone to see your garage to donate some of the items to our community of faith. If you would like to donate some items (no more clothes), please bring them to the parish office.
5. Hispanic Bible Study Classes Level 1 on Wednesdays and Level 2 on Mondays and Hispanic Catechism Classes for adults on first 2 Saturdays of the month in the morning on Zoom. 6. With immense joy and heartfelt gratitude Fr.
