With over 11,000 attendees representing 21 countries, RECongress once again provided many opportunities for nourishment in both mind and spirit. Workshops, keynotes, Sacred Space, reflective prayer opportunities, our Click.Connect.Converse. Zoom rooms where people gathered from all corners of the world to share ideas and meaningful reflections, and moments of celebration, entertainment and a dynamic virtual exhibit hall were all key elements of the weekend. It was truly a weekend filled with hope in trying times.
Many, many people - the Body of Christ - generously offered their gifts and talents to make RECongress possible. This generosity was evident and experienced ever more deeply this year due to the challenges we faced with the COVID-19 pandemic. We are deeply grateful.
We also witnessed the generosity of many benefactors who ensured that people from many places in the world were able to attend RECongress for the first time. Of course, we are always grateful to those who support the continuing higher education of ministers and donate to our Endowment Fund.
As always, we are grateful to each of you for your collaboration and support of our office in the continuing formation of your catechetical leaders, ministers and parishioners as they attend RECongress.
We are so grateful to God, for inspiring us, and walking with us to continue to be of service to the people of God, not only in our own Archdiocese, but also to our brothers and sisters throughout the world.
